This is really good advice because I find you can lose focus in your 80% time too often with other ideas impeding your progress slightly. This is especially true for bioinformaticians/computational biologists being involved in such a nascent and innovative field. Dedicating a time slot for this 'out of the box' thinking allows you to control your main goals in a more organised and efficient manner.</description>
